Cut from smooth Marble #8 Genuine Horween Shell Cordovan, this Nato strap features stainless steel hardware and is an all year round companion which pairs perfectly with vintage watches of all sizes.
The strap is unlined, to keep it lighter and to highlight the suppleness of this special leather.
Great resistance to wear and to wrinkles, it will age beautifully and gain a charming patina over time.
*Horween Shell Cordovan*
The leather used to craft these straps is Shell Cordovan, produced in very small quantities in the Chicago based tannery Horween, which started producing It back in 1905, and have kept the tradition alive ever since.
Each shell is slowly steeped in gentle vegetable liquors. The shells are hot stuffed then slicked onto glass frames to dry. Each shell is hand curried and shaved by highly skilled artisans to expose the shell.
